Who you get
Son of the Sea Developments is Dylan Perrett. He quotes the job, he runs the job, and he is the one who picks up when you have a question about it.
Most building companies sell you the name and send you a stranger. Fewer jobs at once is the point here, not a limitation. It means the work gets the attention it should, the site stays tidy, and you are never chasing anyone for an answer.
The person who quotes your job is the person building it, so nothing gets lost in the gap between what was promised and what turns up.

How we work
That is what we are designing against. Not by being cheaper, and not by promising faster, but by removing the three things that actually go wrong.
Talk to usA detailed written proposal, every inclusion listed, built off a proper consultation rather than a guess. No vague allowances that quietly grow. Scope changes get approved by you first, so the number you sign is the number you pay.
Ring and you get Dylan, not a call centre and not a form that disappears. Same day reply, every time, and the same person from the first site visit through to handover.
Your house is not handed to a project manager you never meet. Nothing gets lost in the gap between what was promised and what gets built, because there is no gap.
01
A paid consultation where we walk the site together. Most people come to us without plans or specifications, so this is where we work out what the project actually needs: drawings, council approval, certification. You leave knowing what is involved.
02
A detailed written proposal built on real information rather than a guess, every inclusion listed. Accept it and the consultation fee comes off the final price of the job.
03
One team on your job. Regular updates as it moves, so you always know what is happening on site this week and what is coming next.
04
Finished, cleaned, certified and walked through with you. Anything on the list gets sorted, and we are still contactable long after the last invoice.
Why the consultation is paid. A proposal is only as good as the information behind it. Paying for the consultation means you get real advice on plans, approvals and certification rather than a number pulled out of the air. Go ahead with the job and that fee comes off the price.
Book a consultationA current Queensland Building and Construction Commission licence. You can look it up on the QBCC register before you hire anyone, and you should.
Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Beaudesert. If you are outside that and the job is right, ask anyway.
Want to meet before you commit? That is the normal way to do this. We walk the site, talk it through, and you decide afterwards whether we are the right fit.
